Montreal @ Winnipeg: Friday, August 22 (8:30pm EDT)
This is NOT a gimme game for Winnipeg. The league has figured out how bad their O and D lines are. This game hinges on that fact and the turn over battle. Montreal can take the game by forcing turn overs, getting to Willy and running the ball.
Toronto @ Edmonton: Saturday, August 23 (4:00pm EDT)
I’d say with Chad Owens and the Argos at home they’d have the edge… but they’re in Edmonton and it’s a tough place to play in.
Calgary @ Ottawa: Sunday, August 24 (3:00pm EDT)
Ottawa is due, just not against Calgary.
Saskatchewan @ BC: Sunday, August 24 (7:00pm EDT)
I think these two are pretty evenly matched. I have to give it to BC because they are playing at home. I’ve said it before, they just don’t lose that often in BC Place.
(4-1) In my head I knew the Bombers were likely to lose in Toronto in Week 8 but my heart wouldn’t let me pick against them. (21-12) on the year. Still hot.
