Week 10 Picks

As the first half of the season comes to a close there really isn’t a ton on the line this week.  Ottawa needs to win or start worrying about the crossover but everyone, even the Riders, are still in this thing.

Montreal @ Hamilton: Thursday, August 27 (7:30pm EDT)

The only way this ends is with charges of animal cruelty (because apparently an Alouette is a bird).

Toronto @ Edmonton: Friday, August 28, (9:00pm EDT)

Pick: Edmonton
Edmonton should rebound after last week’s thrashing.  The Argos will have to beat the Eskies in front of a full home crowd this time and I’m not sure they have it in them.

Calgary @ Winnipeg: Saturday, August 29 (6:00pm EDT)

Pick: Calgary
This isn’t a lock, Winnipeg has it in them to upset but they have to start playing smarter, no more turnovers or special teams breakdowns.

Saskatchewan @ Ottawa: Sunday, August 30 (4:00pm EDT)

Pick: Ottawa
Saskatchewan isn’t the free spot they were earlier this season.  They keep losing tight games and eventually will land on the side of victory.  However, until they do I can’t pick an 0-8 team to win.
