Winter is coming.

Well this is it, the last week of the regular season.  It seems like just yesterday the season opened and now there are precious few games left until the long long winter.

It really doesn’t look like Ricky is playing but neither is Burris.  I guess Toronto.

Calgary @ BC: Friday, November 7 (10:00pm EDT)

Pick: BC

Calgary learned a lesson by playing starters last week so I don’t expect many of their marquee guys to get much time this week.  Calgary hasn’t won in BC in something like 5 years.  On the other hand, does BC want to throw the game, take the cross over and easier path to the Cup?  I would.

Montreal @ Hamilton: Saturday, November 2 (4:00pm EDT)

Pick: Hamilton

Both teams are really gunning for first and if things go particularly bad for Hamilton they could end up done for they year with a loss.  They need to win and haven’t lost in their new digs yet.

Edmonton @ Saskatchewan: Saturday, November 2 (7:00pm EDT)

Pick: Saskatchewan

This is a nothing game for Edmonton and their starters aren’t playing.  Still, the riders are bad enough without Durrant that they could still lose, or they may also throw the game to cross over.  I would.

Last Week

(3-1) I’m kinda pissed at the Bombers for winning. (56-21) on the year. I’m guaranteed to have picked correct twice as many times as wrong no matter what happens this week.
